Past, Present, and Future

This drawing uses gouache to illustrate tarot cards. The work is inspired by the unicorn works in the MET cloisters and also serves as a self-portrait. The narrative is that I am aiding the unicorn in its escape from captivity and the tarot cards showcase its changing future.

NYC Connections

Illustration about my connections to New York City. As a New Yorker born and raised, I met many people through high school and college that I view as lifelong friends, and the one thing that connects everyone is New York City.

Tea Time

Acrylic painting of a tiered dessert tray I shared with a friend. The colors are vibrant and light to demonstrate the feeling of seeing a close friend for the first time in a while.

Our Strange Duet

Acrylic painting of a luxurious space. It was inspired by the Phantom of the Opera and I nod to the inspiration in the piece as Christine is descending the stairs and in the depths below is the phantom on his boat. This piece served as a study of architecture and interior spaces while not replicating an area exactly.

Wooden Tables

I have painted two tables each with their respective themes of alcholic drinks and flowers. I had made the tables for my father’s outdoor hangout space. Bottle caps were aqcuired from a local bar and design and execution of the tables was done by me.

Party Rock

This painting is inspired by Party Rock Anthem and Sorry for Party Rocking by LMFAO. It simply is a group of girls having the time of their lives at a party with music and vibrant LED lights. The girls are modeled off my own group of friends at a Halloween party listening to the same song that inspired the piece.
